My interest in programming began in the early 90′s on an Amiga 500 doing AmigaBASIC. From there when I got my first real PC, I started getting into Delphi and then ventured into C++ by doing some Wrox Press tutorials, and went on to develop a MUD written in C with a couple of friends at school. I also dabbled in C++ and a bit of 3D programming with DirectX. Doing MUDs got me interested in Linux, which in turn got me onto creating websites, thus the self-teaching of HTML, then CGI (of which I have mostly forgotten), then PHP, which I have carried on learning and has been my forte since. I have also dabbled in C++ again since, and some ASP.NET, C# etc.
