Bit of a wierd one last night, Tom and I were packing several cars for Wacken or Hellfest or something outside the house I grew up in in Lee-on-Solent. I had packed an awful lot of stuff, and just started driving down the road when I realised I’d forgotten a load of stuff, so I drove back, and put in Joss’ PA in. I was just about to drive off again when I realised I’d forgotten the TV. Tom asked, “Why do you need a TV for a festival?”, I replied “So we can watch telly and the PA can be the speakers for it”… There were other bits, but they’re a bit hazy.

I just remembered a dream I had from last night – I was in someone’s garage (he wasn’t present) and this guy was building a Bugatti Veyron from a car kit (not possible in real life…) and he had a Haynes manual to instruct him. He had a small box of parts, one of which was a throttle cable. I attached the throttle cable, then thought “Oh no! I’d better take that off in case he notices and wanted to do that himself”… so I removed it, but wanted to get my own Veyron build-it-yourself kit…

Another odd dream I had last night I told Tom about and updating my blog recently reminded myself I meant to be doing this dream log thing… I was at Wacken last night watching Venom. The odd thing was that the Blackstage and True Metal Stage had been merged into one enormous stage. The only normal thing about this dream was a drunk Swedish metaller complaining that the stages were too big and took him far too long to walk between watching the band members…

So I’ve decided to start keeping track of the dreams that I remember. Not sure why or what it’ll acheive, but I do have some strange dreams sometimes. I have found myself dreaming alot more recently anyway, so here’s one I had last night.

Richard Hammond (Top Gear presenter) and myself where wheeling a large cart (not sure what was on it) around a posh hotel, we got to a stage and put it up there. Then a big show started, I was in the wing, he was in the cart, it was embaressing, and he started unloading the cart and putting it at the side of the stage. I started helping, and he told me he didn’t want me to get into trouble and thought I’d gone. Then, an important person came up to me and had a go at me for putting the cart on the stage. I remember saying something along the lines of “I know it was a disgraceful thing to do, but in my defence you should’ve checked the stage was clear before starting the show”.

Odd, I know…
