So it’s been a few days since I last posted, I was a bit ill over the weekend, but fine now. I’ve noticed myself listening to Emperor a lot recently, as some of you may know, I go through cyclic phases of loving a particular band, and it seems this time it’s Emperor (for the umpteenth time).

After a bit of a slow start as the marshalls were trying out a new game on us, we eventually got into full swing with a prison break. After that, marshalls got us going on the new game but slightly modified, but unfortunately not all went to play so we had to try it quite a few times. But then that is what Wednesdays are supposed to be – a bit of a social night, and a night to try out new games. After that we did a bomb the research lab with a twist (a doorbell which triggers a thermo explosion) which was quite fun, and at this point Hannah finally cheered up as she started killing people.

So this is something I’ve been ranting to a lot of folks about – my new gun. Below you will see the beautiful pictures I took all by myself.

The gun is a Classic Army M15A4 (based on the M4A1) R.I.S. Carbine. I have attached a Red/Green aimpoint dot sight, and a G&P tactical light. The PEQ box has a big battery which I like. I ‘ve not had it chrono’d yet, but it should be under 330fps. In addition, I have 6 mid-cap magazines (130 each) and the hi-cap that came with the gun itself. I also have a spangly (dis)charger which works in my car as well as plugged into a wall.

I’m very proud of it. I’ll be using it at UCAP tonight. Thermal barracks night!

Oh – and on a side note – is that how you spell Thermal barracks? I’ve seen it as “Thermo-barracks”, “thermo-baraks” and whatnot, so I just wondered what the actual name is.

So feeling much happier these days. Getting very tired though as many late nights playing Guitar Hero 2 (geeky, I know, but it’s so addictive). Plus went airsofting at UCAP (under Fort Widley) on sunday with Hannah and Mark and Doug and Matt and Jim, which was a lot of fun, and reminded me how ace it is and how much I’m looking forward to going up to Durham to go to NCS. Well good, innit!

Should be rather aceness I think… I expect to see all the MEN there, anyone who isn’t going will be officially labelled a girl.
