What?! It seems illogical to me that Microsoft, after years of development still require you to restart your computer after installing trivial pieces of software, yet in Linux, the only time you need to restart is if you want to try out a new kernel or something… strange indeed.

Yet %90 of the population doesn’t realize this isn’t normal. It’s accepted as normal even though its a PITA. The same goes for malware infections, lock-ups and inconsistent performance over time. It makes me wonder if these same people would consider smacking a brick repeatedly into their forehead as “normal”.
