So, as many people do, I’m going to blog about Internet Explorer’s fantastic “Unknown Runtime Error”, even if it’s just to remind my self and rant at how badly designed Internet Explorer is.

Internet Explorer’s Unknown Runtime Error is giving me a headache. I’m currently working on creating a control that is based on Component Art’s TreeView Combo Box. I’ve got everything looking nice now. It’s just that it doesn’t function. When I attempt to expand or collapse a node on the TreeView, or even just click it, it gives me this Unknown Runtime Error. It works fine in Firefox.

I learn from some googling this is to do with nesting a block-level tag within an inline tag or something. The thing that’s fustrating is that ComponentArt’s control is neatly packaged up and I can’t fix it myself. Damn. Perhaps I’ll update again when I find some kind of fix. But for now, I shall suffer my headache through lack of Anadin.
